I Position in “ Judo Championship – 2014-15  Competition” at International Level..                             
Nikhil Saunak of Class XI of Little Flowers Public Sr Sec School represented India team in  1st South-Asian Youth Judo Championship 2014-15 at Sport Complex Thimpu, Bhutan and got 1st position and won Gold Medal.

II Position in “Karate Championship – 2014-15  Competition” at International Level..                             
Ashish Sharma of Class XI of Little Flowers Public Sr Sec School represented India team in South – Asian International Karate Championship 2015 at Delhi and 2nd position got and won Silver Medal. 

Tug-of-War at National  Level..
A team of Four Students  Sourabh, Mandeep Gupta,Lakshay Kumar Dhama & Paritosh Gaur represented Delhi State in “ 26th Junior National Tug of War Championship “2014-15 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, North Pernam, Dhargal and got 4th Position.

A team of Two Students  Surbhi Sharma and Gargi Tyagi of Class XII represented Delhi State in “ 17th Junior Girls Tug of War National Championship “2014-15 at Shivaji Stadium, Singholi, Maharastra and got III Position.

A team of  Nine students  Manish Tomar,Abhishek sharma,Vishal Tyagi, Daksh, Shweta Yadav, Anjali, Yavnika,Mehak Jain & Surbhi Sharma  of Little Flowers Public Sr Sec School participated  in “26th Open Delhi State Tug of War Championship “2014-15 in 540 Kg weight Categories, 560 Kg Weight Categories & 440 Kg Weight Categories in Mother Global School and got Gold Medal & Bronze Medal.  Scholarship of Rs.21000/- will also be given to Gold Medal Team students.

1020 Students Participated in Bharat ko Jano Quiz.JR Team Sarthak Solanki of Class VIII & Sarthak Jain Stood Second at Semi Final of National Level Quiz. YOUTH  PARLIAMENT  COMPETITION:
Our School stands First amongst New Entrant Schools in “49th Youth Parliament Competition-2014 “ and got 2nd Position at National Level. In 49th Youth Parliament Competition” in 2014 our School got One First Prize, One Second Prize, 3 third Prizes & 4 Fourth Prizes.
 Our School was winner of 1st position among New Entrant Schools and got 16 individual prizes in “33rd Youth Parliament Competition” in 1998 and got a Merit Trophy in 1999 and also participated in 2000 and got First, Second And Third prizes. In “38th Youth Parliament Competition” the School got 5th Position and 14 individual prizes. In “42nd Youth Parliament Competition” in 2007-2008 our School got 2nd Position and 8 individual prizes. In “43rd Youth Parliament Competition” in 2008 our School got 8 individual prizes.

DELHI  STATE  BHARAT  SCOUTS  &  GUIDES:
More than 400 Scouts, Guides, Cubs and Bulbuls are enrolled in this School. They participate in every activity with  a lot of zest conducted by “ Delhi State Bharat Scouts and Guides ”  organized at State and National Level . Scouts of our School worked as volunteers in Pulse Polio Programme every month in the School.
                  The Scouts & Guides celebrated Health Day on 7th April, On this Occasion, Drawing and Slogan Writing Competition was organized. The students participated in it with great enthusiasm. Students exhibited their posters very well showing the awareness about health problems.
                  22nd April was observed as Earth day. The Principal addressed the students and explained about the importance of earth. Three students were declared the best debaters on the topic “Save Earth”. Tree Plantation was celebrated in the School on Environment Day Scouts & Guides planted saplings in the School campus and motivated other students for tree Plantation. The students dressed themselves as medicinal plants telling their importance. The senior students prepared their slogans and banners about the importance of trees.
                  According to C.C.E system of C.B.S.E., it is  compulsory for Students of all classes to participate in the activities of Bharat State Scouts & Guides, 190 Scouts & Guides of Class IX  and 100 Scouts & Guides of Class X are enrolled in Delhi  Bharat State Scouts & Guides in   2015-16. They participated different activities conducted by Bharat State Scouts & Guides. School organizes Day Camps of Scouts & Guides. and conducted various knots, First- aid, Quiz , Personnel Development and Recitation Competition. .

ECO – CLUB:
                Eco-club was sponsored by the Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of  NCT. Delhi The Eco-Club has been consistently working in Little Flowers Public Sr Sec School since 1999. Its Target is to create awareness among the students towards the environmental issues. Since then it has been running successfully with the efforts of one hundred active members.
              The main events conducted by the Eco-Club are Eco-meet, Earth Hour Day, Earth Day, Sapling Plantation, Cleanliness Week, World Population Day, Dengue Awareness Programme, Seminars Etc. Poster Making Competitions, Slogan Writing Competition, Exhibitions and Power Point Presentations are also conducted to motivate the students.
                  Eco-Club has organized various programmes and Campaigns like Pollution Checking, Declamation, Debate, Group Songs etc.

  1. Eco-Club organized various inspiring events such as World Health day, Save the Electricity awareness campaign,Earth day and National Bird Day.
  2. Speeches, Presentations, Slogans, paintings, Exhibitions were held to create mass awareness.
  3. In School premises and surrounding areas cleanliness drive was held.
  4. World Population day, save Water Campaign & Van Mahotsav were celebrated.
  5. Fancy dress show Nukkad Natak students visited Garhi Mandu for Plantation Drive organized by Delhi Govt.
  6. Best out of waste Competition was held for the students of Class IX & X.
  7. Ten Students participated in 10th vacation programme.
  8. Forty Students participated in Global Science Festival and visited Vishwa Yuwak Kendra, Chanakyapuri.
  9. Students also participated in “ Say No” to crackers,Annual Calender  Poster Competition -2015, Environment Quiz, Eco-Meet,Science dayand Sparrow day.
  10. Students also participated eco Toons. Model Making and street Play Competition.
  11. Fifty Students of Class IX visited Yamuna Bio Diversity park.

DISASTER  MANAGEMENT

  1. Disaster preventive measures are already taken in the school along with the Awareness programme for class I to XII.
  2. Mock Drills conducted for class III to XII on 16th August 2013 and a calendar for Mock Drill was prepared.
  3. Workshops were conducted for V to XII std. in the 1st week of August in the School.
  4. Notices and pamphlets were distributed among the students to give awareness on communicable Diseases on 30/08/10.
  5. Students of VIII, IX and X std. prepared the project on various topics of Disaster like Earthquake, Drought, Flood, Cyclone etc.
  6. Students of class VIII,IX & X were trained to use I Aids during disasters.

AVANTIKA ESSAY CONTEST
A total number of 1050Qualitative Essays and Greeting Cards were prepared by the Students of  Class I to XII  on various topics.
Teachers were also participated in Essay-Writing Competition.

C.C.E
                Though Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation process was continuing in our School for I to V std. from 2004, it has been started for IX & X Std.as prescribed by C.B.S.E from 2009. And for VI to VIII from 2010. In this scheme regular assessment of students in both scholastic and co. scholastic aspects is done. The Scholastic Activities include Oral questions, Conversational Skills, Projects, Assignments, Quizzes and Power point presentation.
Co-scholastic Activities include Work Experience, Life-skills, Literary & Creative Skills, Scientific Skills, Yoga, Sports, First Aid, Health & Wellness Club, Eco-Club, Gandhi Corner, Scouts & guides and the activities conducetd by Red Cross, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Avantika, Dept. of Disaster Management etc. A workshop on this topic conducted by C.B.S.E was attended by our Principal and two other teachers at Vivekanand Public School,. A similar workshop was also held in our school on (Educational Officer) and the Principals of about 100 Schools. Awareness classes were conducted by our Principal for Classes VI to X. Parents were also intimated through the PTM . Every year 8 to 9 teachers attend the Workshops conducted by panels of C.B.S.E. Staff’ meeting were held at Principal’s office frequently & with the class teachers & subject teachers of VI and X std. to discuss the follow up of CCE. All the Records were also maintained properly.
Health & Wellness Club was established in the school. All the activities of Health & Wellness are being conducted for all classes.

GANDHI SMRITI AND GANDHI  DARSHAN
                      Every Year more than 100 students of our School participated in National Level Programme on 2nd October for celebration of Gandhi Jayanti of Gandhi Smriti.

COMPUTER ACTIVITIES
The school is conducting various activities using computer and audio visual aids. Our school has 3 Labs with computers in which the students are allowed to have practical experience of topics they learn. Students are given demo using Laptop and projector. Students prepare Power point  presentation on various topics and exhibit them on Computers and Projector to their class-mates. Various computer based activities are conducted at various levels in the School.

    A team of Five students Ravina Goel,Udita Mishra, Kajal Goel, Aditya Garg, Kartik Goel are participating in State Level Science Congress on the topic of “Study of Fuel Efficiency of  Fats and Oils” to be held in November 2013.

  • CHILDREN SCIENCE CONGRESS  (2012) 
    A team of  5 students Abdulla,Barbie Gupta, Ekta Sharma, Saloni Arora and Arjun Jamdagni participated in Children Science Congress Competition on the topic “ Energy Explore ,Harness and Conserve ”and got 1st prize at Zonal, District & State level and   22nd rank at National  level.

  • Students Selected for Indian National Science Congress.(2012)
    99th Indian Science Congress was organized and a team of five Students Sarthak Deshwal, Garima, Monica Goel, Chetan Sharma and Aditya Sharma of Class XI & XII of Little Flowers Public school, Shivaji Park, Shahdara, Delhi -32 presented a project titled “Land Resources- Use for Prosperity, Save for Prosperity” which was highly commended by the esteemed and eminent panel of evaluators and selected for Indian National Congress. Aditya Sharma was selected to participate in the 99th Indian Science Congress) from 3rd to 7th January 2012 at Bhuwneshwar.

    Sarthak Deshwal was selected to participate in 19th National Children’s Science Congress held at Jaipur from 27th to 31st December 2011.

  • Students Selected for National Children Science Congress (2010)
    Students of Little Flowers Public Sr Sec School, Shivaji Park, were selected for 18th National Children Science Congress, Chennai-2010 held from 27th Dec – 31st Dec 2010 at VELS University, Pallavaram in Chennai. Himadree, a student of XI std., presented her group work on topic “Soil Structure & its Suitability for Tree Plantation”. The event was inaugurated by hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Karuna Nidhi. Hon’ble Scientist Prof. Yashpal, Noble Laureate Venkat Raman Ramakrishanan, Mathematician, Ramanujan, T.V Venkateshwaran etc. were present there. Little Florians were selected in top 50 among 700 participants Displaying the potential of the students, School Director Sh. D. R. Patel & Manager Mrs. C. M.   • Students Selected for Indian National Science Congress.(2009)
    97th Indian Congress was organized and a team of five Students Snehil Rastogi, Rachit Jain, Sanchi Jain and Rahul Gupta of Class XII of Little Flowers Public school, Shivaji Park, Shahdara, Delhi -32 presented a project titled “Bio-chemical Analysis of various water bodies of Delhi” which was highly commended by the esteemed and eminent panel of evaluators and selected for Indian National Congress. Sameer Sharma participated in the Rashtriya KLishore Vaigyanik Sammelan (Childres’s Science Congress) from 4th to 6th January 2010 at Trivendrum, Kerala jointly organized by University of Kerala and Indian Space Research organization. Rachit Jain selected for 17th NCSC 2009 held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat from 27th to 31st December 2009.

  • GREEN SCHOOL AWARD AT STATE LEVEL
    The school was adjudged among top ten schools of Delhi and awarded “Green school Award” conducted by Centre for science and environment (CSE). The Students were awarded by Hon’ble Chief Minister of delhi Smt. Sheila Dixit on 20th February at India Habitat Centre.

    Madhur Tripathi represented India in 560 kg weight Category & got III position in “ Tug of War Competition” at International Level at held at Maharaja Agrasen Public School, Ashok Vihar, New Delhi

  • I Position in “ Tug of War Competition” at National Level.
    A team of five students Sahil Chaudhary, Shivam, Juned, Afzaal and Arpit of Little Flowers Public Sr Sec School participated in “Open National Tug of War Championship “2012-13 in 560 Kg weight Categories and 5480 Kg Weight Categories in Pune and got I position & Cash prize of Rs.31,000/- each.

    Kushagra Rana of Little Flowers Public Sr Sec School participated in 58th School National Tug of War in Ponda Goa and got I position and Cash prize of Rs.31,000/-.

  • National Science Olympiad :
    420 Students participated in NSO and won 8 gold Medals, 10 Silver Medals and 8 Bronze Medals

  • International Maths Olympiad :
    525 Students participated in “ International Maths Olympiad “ and won 9 Gold Medals, 9 Silver Medals and 10 Bronze Medals.

  • International English Olympiad :
    145 students participated in “International English Olympiad”, 6 students stood School toppers and got 6 Gold Medals, 5 Silver Medals and 5 Bronze Medals.

  • CCE System :
    School started CCE System since 2004-2005 Session and students doing excellent progress in this new system. School based evolution continuously done by our staff for last nine years successfully.

  • Youth Parliament Competition
    School has been participating in Youth Parliament Competition organized by Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs since 1998. Many times School secured I, II & III Position and Individual Prizes at National Level.
