About Little Flowers "The Temple of Learning"

The Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School, Shivaji Park Shahdara, Delhi-110032 was established on 10th May, 1975, Little Flowers Education Society registered in 1978, Recognized by Delhi Administration in 1982, upgraded upto X in 1985 and XII in 1994 and affiliated by C.B.S.E. in 1986. With two students in the year 1975, the School has grown and bloomed into a fragrancing flower enrolling over 4000 students today. During the period the school has achieved the distinction of being one of the highest award winners not only in all the academic streams among the School of Delhi but also has outstanding achievements in cultural, sports games and other extra co-curricular activities.

  • 100% Results in Class X & XII C.B.S.E. Examinations for last 25 years.

  • 18 Students of Class XII passed from our School were eligible for Higher Education (SHE) of GOI valued at Rs.80,000 per year for five years under Innovation in Science pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) to the students who are within the top 1% at Class XII Examination conducted by the Board during Academic Session ending March 2011.

  • 57 Students of our School got 0.1 Certificates in Class X C.B.S.E. Examination in 2010-11 and 12 Students of Class XII got 0.1 Certificates in 2010-11.

  • Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School, Shivaji Park, Shahdara, Delhi-110032 was selected in “Team Welcome Ceremony of Common wealth Games -2010" from North East district. Little Florians clad in colourful regional attire, full of enthusiasm for Common Wealth Games welcomed the guest players from Sierra Leone, Uganda, Maldeep & West Africa on 2nd October in Khel Gaon with their melodious welcome song and fantabulous dance performance.

  • A team of five students Himadree, Anurag, Aditya, Deepti and Sarthak of Class XI and X participated in 18th National Children Science Congress, 2010 and they were placed among Top 50 Schools at National Level. This event was organized at VELS University, Pallavaram in Chennai from 27th December,2010 to 31st December, 2010.

  • 97th Indian Congress was organized and a team of five Students Snehil Rastogi, Rachit Jain, Sanchi Jain and Rahul Gupta of Class XII of Little Flowers Public school, Shivaji Park, Shahdara, Delhi -32 presented a project titled “Bio-chemical Analysis of various water bodies of Delhi” which was highly commended by the esteemed and eminent panel of evaluators and selected for Indian National Congress. Sameer Sharma participated in the Rashtriya KLishore Vaigyanik Sammelan (Childrens’s Science Congress) from 4th to 6th January 2010 at Trivendrum, Kerala jointly organized by University of Kerala and Indian Space Research organization.

  • The School was adjudged among top ten schools of Delhi and awarded “Green School Award” conducted by Centre for Science and environment (CSE).The Students were awarded by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Sheila Dixit on 20th February 2010 at India Habitat Centre.

  • A team of five students Kunal, Madhusudan, Jatin Gupta, Vizil Tyagi, and Madhur Tripathi of Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School, Shivaji Park, Shahdara represented the Delhi in 13th Sub Junior Men Tug-Of-War National Championship held from 2nd Oct. to 5th Oct. 2011 at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, Chennai, Tamil Nadu and got 2nd Position and a scholarship of Rs. 15,500 per student. From 6 to 7 years our School is getting 1st Position in “Tug of War Competition” at National Level in Pune, Jammu ,Lucknow & Bombay.

  • 100% according to CCE system from I to X and 80% students of our School participated in co-curricular activities and sports at Zonal, District, State and National level.

  • Shreya, Student of our. School succeeded in securing place in the Merit List of Dharam Hinduja Merit cum Means Scholarship Scheme for C.B.S.E. Board Results of Class X 2010-11. The Hinduja Foundation awards the Dharam Hinduja Merit cum Means Scholarship to three students, per State from among rank holders .The Scholarship facilitates the selected candidate to pursue graduation studies in India and will get Rs.2000/- per month till the attainment of first graduation.

  • Students of Senior Group & Junior Group got 1st Position in “Bharat Ko Jano Quiz Competition” at State Level and selected for National Level Competition to be held on 7th & 8th Jan 2012 at Haridwar.

  • A team of 20 students of our School got Ist Position and Cash Award of Rs 10,000/- in “Folk Song Competition" at State Level and selected for National Level Competition.

  • A team of 15 students of our School got 3rd Position and Cash Award of Rs 5000/- in “Orchestra Competition" at State Level.

  • Sarthak Deshwal, Student of Class –XI of Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School, represented Delhi State in “19th National Children Science Congress" held from December 27th to 31st December 2011 at Jaipur National University, Jaipur.

  • Aditya Sharma, Student of Class XII of Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School, representing Delhi State in “Rastriya Kishore Vayanik Sammelan of 99th Indian Science Congress” to be held at Kiit University, Bhubaneswar from December 3rd to 7th January 2012 “.

  • Smt.Neeta Dua, Principal of Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School, received prestigious State Teachers Award from Hon’ble Chief Minister Smt. Sheila Dixit and Education Minister Sh. Arvinder Singh Lovely in 2006.
